Who we are

Brewing Rituals Ltd, trading as Brewing Rituals, operates brewingrituals.com and is responsible for the personal information we use to run this store. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16877825. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

For privacy questions or requests, email support@brewingrituals.com. This policy explains our practices. Visiting our website or placing an order is not, by itself, consent to every form of marketing or tracking.

Information we collect

Contact and delivery details, such as your name, email, phone number, billing address and delivery address.
Order and transaction information, such as products, amounts, discounts, payment status, delivery records, refunds and exchanges.
Account, preference and consent information, including details needed to authenticate access and manage your choices.
Support messages, product reviews and information you provide when reporting a problem, including photos or videos you choose to share.
Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed and interactions with our website, emails or advertisements, through the technologies and choices described below.

Shopify and our payment providers process payments. We receive the transaction and payment information needed to manage your purchase. Please avoid sending full card details, passwords or unrelated sensitive information in support messages.

For returns and fraud checks, we may also use relevant product identifiers, condition assessments and supporting order, delivery and return records. We request proportionate information and do not require unrelated sensitive information to process an ordinary return.

Why we use information

We use information to process and fulfil purchases, collect payment, communicate about orders, handle returns and fault claims, provide customer support, maintain records, prevent fraud and protect our business and customers.

We also use information to understand and improve our store, measure advertising and provide relevant marketing where permitted. Depending on the processing and applicable law, we rely on performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, legitimate interests where available and appropriate, or your consent. We request consent where it is required and provide ways to withdraw it.

Providers and data sharing

We share information needed for the relevant purpose with the following providers and categories of recipients:

Shopify and payment providers: store hosting, checkout, payments, account services, fraud prevention and commerce operations.
Halan and DispatchEx: order processing, fulfilment, delivery, tracking, collections and returns. This can include your name, address, contact details and order or shipment information.
Klaviyo: customer communications, consent preferences, email or SMS marketing where enabled and permitted, and associated measurement or website tools.
Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, and Meta Growth Agent services: advertising, audience and conversion measurement, and related campaign services, subject to applicable choices and legal requirements. Matching can involve contact identifiers, including hashed identifiers where used.
Google, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google advertising services where used: website analytics, tag management, advertising and conversion measurement.
Judge.me: review requests, product reviews and related review services.
Customer messaging and business administration providers: responding to enquiries, maintaining records, and operating authorised support and administration tools. If you choose to communicate through WhatsApp or another third-party platform, that platform also handles information under its own terms.
Professional advisers, authorities and other recipients where required for a legal obligation, legal claim, fraud investigation or a lawful business transfer.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Shopify may combine information from interactions with our store with information from other Shopify services and merchants to support features such as personalisation, advertising and service improvement. Shopify describes its own processing and choices in its privacy policy. Other providers may act on our instructions or as independently responsible parties for some activities.

Cookies, pixels and your choices

We use necessary technologies for functions such as checkout, security, remembering a cart and storing privacy preferences. We also use analytics, advertising and personalisation technologies, including Google, Meta and Klaviyo tools, subject to the choices available through our cookie controls and applicable law.

You can use the cookie banner or privacy controls on our website to accept, decline or manage non-essential categories and change your choice later. Necessary technologies remain available to operate the store. Browser settings can also block or remove cookies, although some store functions may then work differently.

Google explains its practices in its privacy policy. Advertising and analytics providers may offer further controls through their own services. Cookie choices and email or SMS subscription choices are separate. Declining marketing does not prevent essential order, delivery, return or security messages.

Marketing and reviews

We use email, SMS or other promotional messaging only where permitted by law and in line with the applicable consent or other lawful basis. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email, follow the instructions in an enabled messaging channel, or contact us. Buying a product does not require you to subscribe to marketing.

If you submit a review, the review and the public name or display information you provide may appear publicly. Avoid including private contact or payment information in a review.

International processing and retention

Although we sell and deliver only in the UAE, information may be stored or processed outside the UAE by our staff and providers. Shopify currently hosts our store's customer data in the United States, and providers may use other locations.

International processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements. Where required, transfers must have an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision, recognised contractual safeguards or another lawful basis. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, taking account of order management, support, accounting and tax requirements, fraud prevention and legal claims. Records required by law or needed for a dispute may be retained after an account is closed or marketing consent is withdrawn. We do not set one identical retention period for every type of information.

Security and your rights

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information and restrict access according to business need. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. These rights can have exceptions, including where we must retain a record or establish a legal claim. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

Email support@brewingrituals.com to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request relates to you. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Where UK data-protection law applies, information about complaints is available from the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children and policy changes

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek children's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information that we should address.

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Where law requires notice or fresh consent for a change, we will provide it.

خدمة Shopify Network Intelligence مفعلة في متجرنا. وقد يجمع Shopify معلومات التفاعل مع متجرنا مع معلومات من خدمات Shopify وتجار آخرين لدعم ميزات مثل التخصيص والإعلانات وتحسين الخدمات. يوضح Shopify معالجته واختياراته في سياسة الخصوصية الخاصة به. وقد يعمل المزودون الآخرون وفق تعليماتنا أو كجهات مسؤولة بصورة مستقلة عن بعض الأنشطة.

التسويق والتقييمات

لا نستخدم البريد الإلكتروني أو الرسائل النصية أو غيرها للترويج إلا حيث يسمح القانون ووفق الموافقة أو الأساس القانوني الواجب التطبيق. يمكنك إلغاء الاشتراك من الرابط في الرسالة التسويقية، أو اتباع تعليمات القناة المفعلة، أو التواصل معنا. ولا يشترط شراء منتج الاشتراك في التسويق.

إذا قدمت تقييماً، فقد يظهر التقييم والاسم العام أو بيانات العرض التي تقدمها للجمهور. تجنب إدراج بيانات الاتصال الخاصة أو معلومات الدفع في التقييم.

المعالجة الدولية والاحتفاظ بالمعلومات

رغم أن البيع والتوصيل لدينا داخل الإمارات فقط، فقد يخزن موظفونا ومزودونا المعلومات أو يعالجونها خارج الإمارات. يستضيف Shopify حالياً بيانات عملاء متجرنا في الولايات المتحدة، وقد يستخدم المزودون مواقع أخرى.

تخضع المعالجة الدولية لمتطلبات حماية البيانات الواجبة التطبيق. وعند وجوب ذلك، يجب أن يستند النقل إلى آلية قانونية مناسبة، مثل قرار كفاية واجب التطبيق أو ضمانات تعاقدية معترف بها أو أساس قانوني آخر. تواصل معنا للاستفسار عن الترتيبات المتعلقة ببياناتك.

نحتفظ بالمعلومات للمدة اللازمة على نحو معقول للغرض، مع مراعاة إدارة الطلبات والدعم ومتطلبات المحاسبة والضرائب ومنع الاحتيال والمطالبات القانونية. وقد نحتفظ بسجلات يوجبها القانون أو يتطلبها نزاع بعد إغلاق الحساب أو سحب الموافقة التسويقية. ولا نحدد مدة احتفاظ واحدة متطابقة لكل أنواع المعلومات.

الأمان وحقوقك

نتخذ تدابير تنظيمية وتقنية معقولة لحماية المعلومات، ونقيد الوصول بحسب حاجة العمل. ولا يمكن لأي نظام ضمان أمان مطلق.

بحسب القانون الواجب التطبيق، قد يحق لك طلب الوصول إلى معلوماتك أو تصحيحها أو حذفها أو تقييد معالجتها أو نقلها، والاعتراض على استخدامات معينة أو سحب الموافقة. وقد تخضع الحقوق لاستثناءات، بما فيها ضرورة الاحتفاظ بسجل أو إثبات مطالبة قانونية. ولا يؤثر سحب الموافقة في المعالجة التي تمت بصورة مشروعة قبل السحب.

الأطفال وتعديلات السياسة

متجرنا مخصص للبالغين، ولا نسعى عن علم لجمع معلومات الأطفال الشخصية. تواصل معنا إذا اعتقدت أن طفلاً قدم معلومات تستدعي المعالجة.

قد نحدّث هذه السياسة عند تغير الخدمات أو الممارسات. ويحدد التاريخ أعلاه النسخة الحالية. ونقدم إشعاراً أو نطلب موافقة جديدة على التغيير متى أوجب القانون ذلك.
