We didn't set out to start a coffee brand. We set out to fix our own mornings.
Like a lot of people, we had a coffee standard at home and no way to keep it the moment we walked out the door. Hotel rooms with a sad sachet by the kettle. An office machine that made something brown and bitter. Long queues for takeaway that cost a fortune and still disappointed. Starting the day on coffee we didn't even like put us in a mood we couldn't shake — and we began to notice how much of life happens away from your own kitchen.
We tried the fixes everyone tries. Instant was a no. A cheap manual maker got closer — until the morning we stood in a hotel room realising we had no way to boil water. Buying a coffee out every day was expensive, and it was never quite ours. Nothing fit into a bag and a real morning.
What we build
What we wanted was simple: one good cup that tastes like ours, wherever we happen to be. So we built two tools, each designed to remove the compromise. Espresso Rituals is a self-heating portable espresso maker that pulls real 15-bar espresso and heats its own water — no kitchen, no kettle, ready in about three minutes. The Alchemist Bottle is a double-walled glass infuser that lifts the leaves at the right moment, so loose-leaf tea comes out clean instead of bitter, wherever you are.

Every product is held to three standards: precision — from temperature control to filtration, we design for the science of flavour; true portability — lightweight, leak-proof, rechargeable, untethered from your kitchen; and pure materials — borosilicate glass and BPA-free finishes, so you taste your brew, not the bottle.
